FAERIE BATHING ROOMS AND VANITIES
The bathing room is a recent addition to the modern faerie home. Although many faeries are still content to bathe in a spring or other fresh body of water, the trend for a functioning bathing room is noticibly on the up-swing.
The bathing room is quickly becoming reognized as one of the most functional rooms in the faerie house. It is ideal for many wonderful faerie activities, like primping and fluffing and powdering.
Vanities are also a rather new concept in the faerie realm. In past times, faeries made do with dew drops for mirrors, and mullein petals for hand towels. A simple toadstool would always suffice for a place to sit, if need be.
Today's modern faerie home-owner almost always desires or expects a fanciful place to primp, fluff and adorn herself before going out for a night of frolicking and play.
For that reason, most of the larger homes I design include fully furnished bathing rooms. These, I generously supply with various personal items such as linens, fragrances, and toiletries.
