About Tatianatatiana

The Faerie Factory™ is one of the most inspiring places in the world, it's an enchanted studio filled with houses of all sorts, made of wood and stone. The shelves are lined with tiny furnishings and drawers and baskets are filled with all kinds of oddities of nature, scraps of fabric, beads and buttons, lace and leather.

Faerie Factory™ workshops by Tatiana include faerie furniture, mini faerie furniture, faerie cottages, faerie treehouses and group workshops on faerie grottos, villages and nature mandalas.

Tatiana wrote the original wiki-how on "How to transform your dollhouse into a faerie house," an article that was featured and got over 50,000 hits when it first went up. Now other sites have taken the idea and written their own versions.

The Faerie Factory™ doesn't have any employees, but there is one very inspired artist who works within its walls.

Tatiana has been presenting workshops for over 10 years. She is an annual instructor at The Woodlander's Gathering, Olbrich Gardens, Grandview Academy, and is the featured guest at Shake Rag Alley's annual Faerie Festival week.

Her Faerie structures have been featured in many publications including; Faerie Magazine, The Capitol Times, The Wisconsin State Journal, The Milwaukee Journal Sentinal, and more recently, The Voice. On television you may have seen her on the Wisconsin Gardener, on the Daily Buzz or or on one of the dozen local news stories on NBC, CBS and ABC, covering her passion and work.

Tatiana is most recognized for her work at the prestigious Chalkfarm Gallery in Santa Fe, for her annual exhibit at Olbrich Gardens for their Holiday Train Show, and as a blacklight live art performer at several large music venues in the Midwest. She is also a professional brainstormer for Sandbox International.

In addition, Tatiana has designed sets, props and worked in special effects in the film industry. She has also designed clothing and jewelry and is a certified Hypnotherapist. During the summer months she conducts workshops and does live art painting and event photography at various outdoor music festivals.

Her main focus of this body of faerie work is not to sell the items, but to create a line of gift items, books, cards, posters and other products based on her artwork. She also intends to set up a treasure hunt like geo cashing or letter boxing but with faerie houses instead.

Tatiana has declined offers from several of the largest and most prestigious publishers in the field, in order to maintain control of her art and content. "This has been a process that has taken many years, but great things take time." she says. Tatiana will continue to compile her work until she is ready to publish. At that time, she may consider an outside publisher or self-publish, depending on "how life goes."

She has taken thousands of photos and this website depicts just a few of her works to be included in her future books, which include a travel guide to the Land of Fae and FAERIE HOMES & GARDENS, a collection of fine faerie homes and furnishings.
